The Main Farmhouse

Open from May to October This beautifully restored house has four large double bedroom, one single - all with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen and lounge has a gorgeous brick barreled vaulted ceiling, with wood burner, and large kitchen / dinning area. Just walk from the lounge onto the raised BBQ terrace and eat, sunbathe and relax, and enjoy the view of the ancient town of Atessa on the hill |

Open all year This one up, one down is tucked away with its own entrances and private outside space. It used to be a wine store, and still has the original wine press and domed vault to keep the wine cool (which is handy on a hot sunny day). |

The countryside of Abruzzo comes into full bloom and forms the perfect backdrop to visits to the region’s ancient towns. The rivers come into spate as the snows melt, and hiking and wildlife-watching opportunities open up through the three national parks and the many natural reserves. Head for the buzzing coastal areas and enjoy sun-drenched days on the beach followed by evening strolls along the promenade

A whole different perspective on the region becomes apparent during the colder months. The towns are illuminated with fairy lights, there are Christmas markets and in the mountains, there will often be plenty of snow.
